from a basement on the hill

I got the pleasure of seeing Cold Play on Friday night and let me tell you, I have seen a ton of concerts in my day, but this one has got to be somewhere at the top of my list. I say "somewhere" because I have seen so many good concerts that it is really hard to say which one was better. This is a pic of them on Friday night, isn't Chris Martin just so dreamy? :) . Anyway..the thought of "top of my list" brings up some very good questions to ask myself. How would I rate the concerts (that I remember) that I have been to. Some of my "for sure" top shows are..Pink Floyd, Roger Waters (without Pink Floyd), Dave Matthews (of course), Smashing Pumpkins (before they hit big), Jimmy Buffett (well, because it is so damn fun), Prince and now Cold Play. Ok, I guess I should also add the "Smokin' Grooves" tour I went to..see what I am saying? I can't stop. I really want to sit down and make the list and maybe even scrap it. I just don't know if I will ever be able to finish the list ;) I guess I should think of it as a good thing that I have had the opportunity to see so many good shows. I just wish that I was smart enough to journal it all before I started scrappin', ya know?
