My best friend has a blog now

I am so happy that Michelle decided to start a blog so I am going to take this opportunity to tell her how much I love her and what she means to me. So here goes....Dear Chelle, We have been best friends for 17 years and that in it self says a lot about our friendship!! We have been there for each other thru all the joys and all the heartaches and even all the "fights" where we swore that we would never speak again (which never lasted longer than a week)You are the godmother to my precious baby girl (I know, I know, she is not a baby anymore)and have treated her as if she was your own. Needless to say, we have had a lot go on in our lives and we have stuck by each other thru it all without hesitation. When the house came up for sale right next door to you it was like a dream come true, in fact it was one of our "fantasies" as kids and I never in a million years thought that it would be possible, I am so glad that it was. If it was not for you and my mom I would not have been able to make it thru the whole "single mom" thing. It was you who helped me realize that even if Adam was not going to be around, that you would and that I was very much capable of doing it on my own, and you were right! Anyway, I'll get to my point. After all these years and after living right next door and seeing you almost every day, it still amazes me that we always have something to talk about and even when we don't it is always a "comfortable silence" That to me is like having a "soul mate" now I know that Cory is your soul mate and Travis is mine, but I mean a different kind. Sure, you are like a sister, and my family is your family (and vice versa) but you are so much more than that. And I just want you to know that I do appreciate you and I am so lucky to have a friend like you. Thank you for everything girlie, YOU ROCK! Love ya :)
